Soneike High School has always been a hub for nurturing talent, fostering friendships, and instilling entrepreneurial spirit. For Athenkosi Mbala, Morapeli Ramabolu, and Luminathi Mfecane, their alma mater played a pivotal role in shaping their journey to success.
The trio's story began in the halls of Soneike High, where they formed an unbreakable bond. Cousins Athenkosi and Morapeli, already inseparable since birth, met Luminathi during their high school years. Together, they navigated adolescence, sharing laughter, secrets, and dreams. Their friendship evolved into a deep, entrepreneurial partnership. In Grade 12, they started a business selling accessories, including bracelets, necklaces, and anklets. Balancing school and business proved effortless, thanks to their shared vision and determination.
After graduating in 2023, they set their sights on expanding into the clothing industry. By March 2024, ARQADIAN VOGUE was born, with 'ARQ' representing their initials. Registering the company and launching operations, they began accepting orders in April. Today, ARQADIAN VOGUE flourishes, thanks to the trio's diverse skill sets, shared values, and unwavering support.
As they navigate adulthood and entrepreneurship, they credit Soneike High School for nurturing their brotherhood and entrepreneurial spirit. "Soneike High School played a huge role in developing our brotherhood," Athenkosi reflects. "It's where we met Luminathi and formed an unbreakable bond.
Our school experience taught us valuable lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and creativity." Morapeli adds, "Our time at Soneike High prepared us for the challenges of entrepreneurship. We learned to adapt, innovate, and support each other through thick and thin." Luminathi echoes their sentiments, "Soneike High School will always be a special place for us. It's where our dreams took shape, and our brotherhood was forged." ARQADIAN VOGUE's success serves as a testament to the power of friendship, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit.
