Soneike High School Welcomes Dutch Students Under Global Exchange Program
Highbury, Kuils River - Soneike High School was abuzz with excitement as a group of students from the Netherlands arrived on campus yesterday, July 8, 2024.
The visitors, from CIOS (Centrum voor Internationale Ontwikkeling en Samenwerking), were warmly welcomed by our school ambassadors as part of a global exchange program. The group of Dutch students will spend four days, from July 8 to July 12, immersing themselves in South African culture and sharing their own experiences with our students.
This exchange aims to foster international understanding, friendship, and learning. During their stay, the visitors will engage in various activities, including attending classes, participating in cultural events, and exploring our school's facilities. Our students will have the opportunity to learn about the Netherlands' customs, traditions, and way of life, while also sharing their own stories and experiences.
This global exchange program is a fantastic opportunity for our students to broaden their perspectives, develop new friendships, and create unforgettable memories.
