Entle Xuba bids farewell to the Girls Soccer team

Soneike High School Girls Football Team Shines at CSW Tournament

On a chilly and windy morning, August 17, 2024, the Soneike High School girls football team showcased their skills at the CSW Girls Football Tournament hosted by Curro Somerset West. The Zone Champions proved their mettle by playing three back-to-back matches against formidable opponents.

The team's determination and resilience were put to the test as they faced: 1. Curro Hermanus (2-0 win) 2. Meridian Pinehurst (0-2 loss) 3. Curro Somerset West (2-1 win) Captain Entle Xuba reflected on the tournament, saying, "It was a challenging run due to the wind, but a day well spent and deservedly won. I'm proud of the team, especially our juniors, who form a significant part of it. As I move on from the team, I wish them all the best in their journey." This tournament marked a bittersweet moment for Entle, as it was her last outing with the team. However, her confidence in the team's future is a testament to the strong foundation and talent within the squad.

Soneike High School's girls football team continues to make waves, and their performance at the CSW tournament is a shining example of their dedication and passion for the sport. We look forward to seeing their future successes!
